Why I Actually Do This

Real talk: 5 years 2 months  into this business, I still get asked “wait, why do you actually do this?” So today, I want to answer that honestly — not the elevator-pitch version.

I started because I wanted something of my own, something outside of the wife and mom roll, but something that could still contribute to the family as needed. At the time, I thought this would just be something I did for bit and then get bored and move on. What I didn’t expect was that I would be representing 3 companies, and love the community, the friends I’ve made, both on the customer side and on the business side. To be honest the little extra it brings in doesn’t hurt either.

Here’s what’s kept me going, even on the hard days: besides my own stubbornness, is seeing people love their results!!. If you’ve ever wondered whether this is “just a side thing” for me, it’s not — and here’s why: Beautifully You by Christy (ABBI, EllieMD, and Color Street) has genuinely meant to me personally, is I love being able to help people fulfill a goal of theirs. Be that better skin, healthy nails, weight loss or improved recovery.

I won’t pretend it’s always easy. I mean seriously trying to find the energy and the bandwidth some days is hard. But then I remember all of you and it makes it worth it.
